haiku my heart
Crystalline clear brook
Flowing from its mountain source,
Not yet polluted.
Haiku my heart is the vision of Rebecca Brooks at "recuerda mi corazon." If you would like to participate, just post your haiku on Fridays with an accompanying photo on your blog and link back to recuerda mi corazon.
I look forward to sharing haiku every Friday with you!

I can feel that cold water rushing over my bare feet...
ReplyDeleteMargaret that photo is stunning! It makes me want to be there. Your Haiku was excellent!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a beautiful weekend!
Love Di ♥
Little brook,
ReplyDeleteDon’t I know your name?
Ah, Dasher!
Thank you, Margaret, for the "sound" of rushing water!

ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful clear rushng stream. I am reminded that water is the symbol and source of the unconscious in poetry and literature. The world of dreams lies beneath its surface. Remaining unpolluted is a lovely hope for us all.
Xoxo,
Noelle

It is beautiful here.I love the colors on your blog. Lovely Haiku.
ReplyDeletePure clear water so soft and yet so strong.
Crystalline water is what I dreamed of last night, not dissimilar to your haiku and image.

ReplyDeleteHi Stephanie~ Luscious, aren't they, the gifts of nature? ♥
ReplyDeleteHi, Diana! Thank you! And it sounds like you're at least getting a touch of spring! ♥
ReplyDeleteHi Magical~ What a quixotic comment! Dasher? I'm thinking of the water dashing over the rocks, but one of Santa's reindeer was called Dasher who was quite strong and dashed off, leading the others? Well, rushing water is awesome. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rebecca! Yes, if we could keep the water pristine and the rest of nature in turn... ♥
ReplyDeleteHi Noelle! Yes, water does represent the unconscious! In feng shui it is called the "abyss." In yoga, we're supposed to work on keeping water in balance in our second chakra. And as you said, the purity is key in keeping that balance. ♥
ReplyDeleteThank you, Gemma! Yes, it's amazing the power of water v. its softness. I'm thinking of the soft spray of the sprinkler in my garden... ♥
ReplyDeleteHi Sue! What a lovely dream! Pure, cleansing, refreshing... ♥
ReplyDeleteHi Nanka! That's beautiful! I wish I celebrated nature's gifts more often... ♥
