Cold and wind forget
Petals floating gently by--
A taste of summer.

First Post

What does our body's energy tell us about our security, creativity, ability to express?

6) transparent (indigo)

It is snowing and snowing and snowing.
Soon my transparent soul will be covered.
It is freezing and icing and sleeting.
My once malleable heart will be frozen.
How does one liberate the soul, the heart, the mind?
How does one take a trip behind the mirror?
Maybe the crystalline ice will reveal the magical soul,
And the layers of snow will warm the still-beating heart.

5) flowing (blue)

4) accepting (green)

This is a song of a little bird
Who fell in love with a fish.
He said, "You cannot live in the ocean."
And she said to him,
"You never can live in the sky."
But the ocean is filled with tears
And the sea turns into a mirror.
There's a fish in the moon when it's clear
And a bird on the tide.
And the fish and the bird can live in each other's hearts.
~Tom Waits

3) fragile (yellow)

1) secure (red)

the cat and the coyote

The coyote's eyes narrowed as he greedily ate the raw meat.
The cat's eyes widened as he warily watched.
I swooped him up in my arms and nestled him to my chest.
Greed, fear, compassion, trust in the backyard.
