haiku my heart: the vaulted sky
Vaulted sky, due west
the sun sets just as night falls.
Clouds in the kitchen.
Haiku my heart is the vision of Rebecca Brooks at "recuerda mi corazon." If you would like to participate, just post your haiku on Fridays with an accompanying photo on your blog and link back to recuerda mi corazon.

That is beautiful! It just flows with words and pictures.
ReplyDeleteSmiles.
I would notice ceilings more if they were as beautiful as the sky (like yours is)
ReplyDeleteA pretty effect.......
ReplyDeleteI love the effect of that first picture in particular. The edge of the light fixture looks like the moon, shining over a mountain- rimmed lake. Very pretty. "Clouds in the kitchen"...leaves lots of room for interpretation: I like that.
ReplyDeleteI want to know how to get the clouds to come into my kitchen too!

clouds in the kitchen....
ReplyDeleteyou are speaking straight to my heart.
Margaret,
ReplyDeleteThis is simply ethereal. I would love to sit in there and have tea and scones with you. It is absolutely divine. Beautiful haiku and images. Yes, as your friend says there is room for interpretation but it seems heavenly to me. By the way, there is a big thank you for you on my blog for the Japan effort. I am not sure if you saw that post. It is just before the haiku.
xoxo,
Noelle

ReplyDeleteHi Kimmie~ My favorite part is sunset--both inside and out at the same time! xxox
ReplyDeleteHi, Meri~ Thank you! Trompe d'oeil... xxox
ReplyDeleteHi Lynne! I like that one, too--the geometrical lines, each with a different shade. I never thought of the light fixture as the moon! Perfect! Thanks! xxox
ReplyDeleteHi MMT! Just invite Cloud Maiden! xxox
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca~ The big sky overhead! I thought about you and so many prayers and dreams when I heard the Boston Marathon was off and running today... xxox
ReplyDeleteHi Noelle! I wish you could be here for tea under my sky cafe! I did see your list, and I thank you. More importantly, I thank you for everything you did. The suffering Japanese will not be forgotten thanks to you. xxox
ReplyDeleteHi Ramesh~ You're right! No rain from these clouds! xxox
ReplyDeleteHi Gemma! It's great to have an imagination, isn't it?;) Then the world can be whatever you want it to be! xxox
ReplyDeleteHi Sue! You've got it! It sounds lovely! Whatever it's like outdoors, we'll always have the bubbles under the canopy! Yes! xxox
