haiku my heart: the vaulted sky

Vaulted sky, due west

the sun sets just as night falls.

Clouds in the kitchen.

Haiku my heart is the vision of Rebecca Brooks at "recuerda mi corazon." If you would like to participate, just post your haiku on Fridays with an accompanying photo on your blog and link back to recuerda mi corazon.

  2. I would notice ceilings more if they were as beautiful as the sky (like yours is)

  3. I love the effect of that first picture in particular. The edge of the light fixture looks like the moon, shining over a mountain- rimmed lake. Very pretty. "Clouds in the kitchen"...leaves lots of room for interpretation: I like that.

  6. Margaret,
This is simply ethereal. I would love to sit in there and have tea and scones with you. It is absolutely divine. Beautiful haiku and images. Yes, as your friend says there is room for interpretation but it seems heavenly to me. By the way, there is a big thank you for you on my blog for the Japan effort. I am not sure if you saw that post. It is just before the haiku.

  9. Well, I have lots of bliss bubbles in my kitchen, perhaps we should join under your oh so beautiful, cloudy canopy and 'capture' heaven right here on earth? :~)
