Look for the Daffodil

Every now and again take a good look at something
not made with hands--
a mountain, a star, the turn of a stream.
There will come to you wisdom and patience
and solace and, above all,
the assurance that you are not alone in the world.

  4. Hi Margaret,
Thanks for visiting my blog and the beautiful comments. Putting words to images is very fulfilling to me. You do that very well on your blog as well, which is cheerful and uplifting. I love your mandalas. They speak to me on a very deep, spiritual level. I'll be back to visit!

  5. its a beautiful creation. simple in construction and yet so sublime.
one could put to paper complex indigestible terms detailing the intricacies of the subject but it wouldnt be art; just a dexterous attempt, a cumbersome arrangement of words.
there is a flow in this poem that gives it life and soul. it diagrams the most primal thought about the concept. we are face to face with the central idea. it is this transportation that makes it a work of art, that provides it beauty.

thanks a million for ur thoughts margaret. i treasure them dearly.
