Meet Cerridwen, the wise Welsh witch who points the way for us at this time of change, Halloween, Summer's End.
"Double, double, toil and trouble," chants Cerridwen as she stirs the boiling cauldron of possibilities.
Cerridwen is testing the current of what is to be.

Great pictures and awesome decorations. Such a cool holiday Buah Ha ha ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteHalloween has just recently become a tradition in our country. Buuu-huu
ReplyDeleteFabulous decorations, perfectly ghoulish!! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteWow! Talk about "witchy woman"! It's fun how some people go all out for Hallowe'en. My brother brought over a large pumpkin to place outside my mother's front door, and we have some mini-chocolate bars on hand, just in case...but it's been many a moon since any trick-or-treaters have shown up at this door. (that's why we always buy our favourite chocolates!) Besides, it usually rains in Vancouver on All Hallow's Eve! A perfect night for drinking some of that hot cider you mentioned over at my blog.
ReplyDeleteHugs! xo
Are all those decorations and figures in your house?
ReplyDeleteThat would be amazing.
What can I say these are the Bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Blues! That was a great Bela Lugosi laugh to go with the photos! And you have some pretty spooky characters on your farm! Let's see, what are you watching for Halloween? I'm thinking Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein?!

Hi Gry! Lucky you! Now you have to make costumes, decorate, and put out treats! It's actually great fun! Happy Halloween!

Hi Marion! Very ghoulish! But I like the mythology behind it, too. Happy Halloween!

Hi Lynne~ Ooh, I love calling it "All Hallow's Eve!" When I lived in France on October 31st everyone was running around buying chrysanthemums, and I was so puzzled! It turns out they were for bringing to the cemeteries the next day for All Soul's Day. I like the trick with the favorite treats so you can enjoy them after! Most of the decorations are in my neighbor's front yard. It's really spooky at night with eerie lighting and ghosts and witches talking and moving! Trick or treat!

Hi Friko! They're mostly in my neighbor's front yard. It was a major project! Ours is the first witch and the jack o'lantern in the bay window. There is usually a line of cars on Halloween driving past their house to see the spooky sights! Blessings for All Soul's Day!

Hi Rhonda! It is da Bomb!! --in front of our neighbors' house-- the witch stirs the cauldron and speaks! our witch speaks, too! A new generation of kids, so someone to see it. Our driveway is too long for some of them, though. Sound familiar?! Happy Halloween!
