  1. Oooooh, I love drawing mandalas---it's so relaxing for the mind. I just bought a set of twist-out color pencils last week and have been doodling while I watch tv! Did you draw this one? It's beautiful.

Love your sun/moon mandala and the Haiku fits it so perfectly!

  2. Wonderful. I love drawing mandalas, too.

Thanks for commenting on my Morroco post. I didn't see any of the Casbah's-- that is another trip! I'm sure I walked right by one or two. There was amazing tile-work everywhere.... I have not read 'The Sheltering Sky'. I did the see the film adaptation, though. (Good movie.)

    Best Wishes!

  4. Hi Margaret, I've always liked sun / moon combinations... they help raise thinking to the cosmic plane. Just wanted to say, I'm really enjoying all your comments, it's a real pleasure to have your visits ! And I just noticed today that Laurie left a comment in French... so I'm wondering now if he speaks French in fact, after we did all that translating for him... will have to ask him... bye, owen

  5. Hello Margaret,
At one time I drew many mandalas - following in Jung's footsteps...
I used to take Women's self discovery workshops and regular classes and we would usually end the sessions with a mandala drawing for the integration component.

    Happy Days

  14. Marion, Gretchen, Delwyn, Jessy, Jessica, Jeff, and Owen: We're a mandala club of sorts! I'm more for the individual meaning/self-understanding type as above, but I also like the yantra types you can buy and paint. You can even make sand art mandalas at the beach!
Gry, Blues Vox, Kimberly, Julie, and Laurie: You can join the club, too! You've passed the first step by liking to look at them. Thanks!
Sharon, I see a story coming on with the moon, the sun, and the stars!
