full strawberry moon

A single white gardenia petal
Floats down the silvery stream
In rhythm with the moon's gentle pull.
The reflection of my heart
Emanates from the hazy full moon
Up in the indigo sky
Midst the sparkling of stars. Harmony.

  9. Owen, Friko, and Jeff, the photographer (credited above) fully saturated each faint color to create this moon. Wish we could see it that way!
BluesVox and Marguerite, thank you for your kind words. I think July is the Wolf moon--Midsummer's Night Eve?
Delwyn, thanks for your comments. And they say the son's parents get off easy! I think if I were the bride's mother, I'd collapse in a dead heat! Well, you have until February until the next one! Love, Margaret
