  1. Great shot of the moon! We have a nice sunny day today, I'm hoping it stays that way because I want to bike to the harbour and try and get some photos of the sun setting and the moon rising!!! Cross your fingers!

  2. Thanks, Rain! I used the larger telephoto lens with my Nikon plus the tripod, as you suggested. Not too exciting a photo, though. Do you know what you could do that would be fantastic? Take a picture on PEI of the full moon over the water with the reflection as well. It would be lovely! Do you know (I'm sure you do) St. Pierre et Miquelon? It's right around PEI. They are bilingual as are you. Oh, I just read you're shooting from the harbor! Yes, sunset over water is another beautiful shot! Bonne chance!

  3. Telephoto, yeah, I want one of those too! I thought it was a great photo, it's hard to capture the moon, let alone the night sky without major equipment!!! Yes, St-Pierre and Miquelon...I had planned to move to Newfoundland last December actually because I got accepted into the Oceanography program at the university in St-John's. To my utter despair the darn car broke down and I had to cancel the trip...it was tough. I had a little side trip planned on PierreMiq. But in a way it was good because I realized I was rushing into moving, I think the sunsets on PEI will be amazing! I'll have to wait until October though! Oh, and speaking of lemons, ha ha...my c)ar is currently broken down again, waiting for my next paycheque to get it fixed, and I didn't have the energy to bike down to the harbour, so my bonne chance will have to come later in July, but I'm not giving up!!!

  4. Rain~ you have the best attitude! Life tends to unfold as it will, and you seem to have recognized that. And look! it's made you a happier, more energized, more positive person! on the more negative side, I just heard El Nino is coming by again. Yikes! a la prochaine, Margaret
